One of my main hobbies, throughout my entire life, has been craft work of one kind or another. I have tried crochet, filet crochet, knitting, shuttle tatting, dressmaking, soft toy making, freestyle embroidery, cross stitch, crewel, needlepoint (tapestry), blackwork, hardanger, bobbin lace and Ruskin lace. My favourites, and the things I tend to do most, are cross stitch, blackwork, freestyle embroidery, tatting and crochet.
